'The Hobbit: The Battle Of Five Armies'—The Rightful King, Brad and Bilbo Baggins Poster Released
New posters from the upcoming movie "Hobbit 3" shows Bilbo Baggins wielding his sword, Brand with an Elvish army and Thorin sitting on his throne. The movie will see five races—dwarves, elves, orcs, eagles and men—meet in battle. [Spoiler Alert!]
Thorin is seen sitting on his grandfather's throne in a new poster released by the producers. He is wearing his battle armour and is clutching his sword. Having claimed the vast treasures of the Lonely Mountain, he will be infected with the dragon sickness that had plagued his grandfather in the past. Click here to see the picture.
Thorin and the dwarves will have to face the consequence of unleashing the dragon on the defenceless people of Lake Town. The trailer of the upcoming movie (below) showed the dragon Smaug breathing fire on the town.
One man in Lake Town knew the dangers of waking the dragon but was also determined to kill it. The producers of "Hobbit 3" have released a new poster of Brad. He is seen accompanied by an Elvish army in the picture. Will he finally be able to kill the dragon in the upcoming movie? Click here to see the poster.
The king of the Woodland Elves, Thranduil, is a cautious king who has, so far, chosen not to support the dwarves in their battles. Will his son Legolas finally convince him to take up arms in "Hobbit 3"?
Another character who was not too keen on fighting was Bilbo Baggins. A new poster of the character shows him with a muddy face and holding a sword. Almost all the posters released of the character shows him with his sword. Click here to see the picture.
Bilbo Baggins uses as a sword a dagger called Sting. It is a long Elvish dagger made in Gondolin during the First Age. The character is not perceived as a courageous warrior, but in the previous movie, he was seen fighting off the powerful pale orc Azog the Defiler in order to save the life of Thorin. His courage had also inspired the other dwarves to join the battle.
Will Bilbo Baggins play a more inspiring role in "Hobbit 3"? The movie is slated to be released on Dec. 26, 2014 in Australia. The release dates for other countries includes Dec. 11 for New Zealand, Dec. 12 for the UK and Dec. 17 for Canada and the U.S.
