‘The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies’ -- Two New Posters Show Eagles With Gandalf And Thorin At War
The producers of "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" have released two new posters showing Gandalf and Bilbo, with eagles in the background and another showing Thorin and the other dwarves facing an army of orcs and a giant troll. [Spoiler Alert]
A weary Gandalf is accompanied by Bilbo Baggins, who is seen clutching his sword -- Sting, in a new poster of "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies." Eagles can be seen flying in the background in the poster.
Eagles have always played a very critical role in not only the previous "Hobbit" movies but also "The Lord of the Rings" movies. The director of the movie had previously revealed to EntertainmentWeekly that he will not be using the eagles in the last moment in the battle to save the day. Instead the eagles will be a part of the war strategy very early in the final battle.
The other poster from "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" shows Thorin facing a giant troll along with the other orcs. The trailer of the movie shows Thorin watching over the treasure at the Lonely Mountain and choosing to go to war as king.
The director, Peter Jackson, has reportedly said that the different cultures and fighting tactics of each of the five races have been incorporated in the massive final battle scene. A close attention is also said to have been paid to the different weapons and shields used in the battle.
The final battle is set to take place at the foot hills of the Lonely Mountain. The armies of orcs, men, elves, dwarves and eagles are set to converge for the final battle. Readers who have watched the previous movie will remember that Sauron had secretly sent his army of orcs under the leadership of Azog to claim the treasures and the fortress of the Lonely Mountain.
Apart from the vast legion of the orcs, the armies of men, elves and dwarves will have to fight with the dragon Smaug in "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies." The result of the battle will determine the future of Middle-earth. Will Thorin live to see the end of Smaug and Azog in the movie?
