Fans of the "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" get to have a sneak peek of the action behind-the-scenes from the cast and crew of the film, including funny bloopers on set.

The director and cast of "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," recently had a live Q and A session with CNN host Anderson Cooper on Nov. 4, 2013 in New York. The cast chatted with Cooper from various locations including Los Angeles, Wellington and London. This is part of the worldwide "The Hobbit" Fan Event.

Peter Jackson, along with Andy Serkis, Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly, Richard Armitage, Luke Evans and Lee Pace participated in "The Hobbit" Fan Event.

Jackson and the rest of the cast answered several questions about the making and filming of "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," from Cooper and the fans who attended the event.

Evangeline Lilly, the only rose among the thorns, even mentioned that Tinkerbell was her inspiration when she was portraying her character Tauriel, which amused the fans. She further explained that Tauriel is like Tinkerbell because even if she's small and cute, she is strong and feisty.

Meanwhile, Lee Pace joked that he got his elvish moves from Orland Bloom.

When asked what his favorite line from the movie is, Richard Armitage who plays Thorin Oakenshield in the film replied in the video:

"If this is to end in fire, then we will all burn together."

"That is a sexy line," Orlando Bloom said in the video.

Apart from answering questions, Peter Jackson also showed a sneak peek of "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" as well as a behind-the-scenes clip which was taken as they were making the film.

The behind-the-scenes clip (with stills that can be seen on the Daily Mail Web site) is filled with footage of the cast shooting their scenes using green screens as background. It also included a few bloopers of Ian McKellen messing up his lines while shooting a scene with Sylvester McCoy who plays Radagast the Brown. Plus, a glimpse of Lee Pace who plays Thrandruil as he jokingly flirts with Evangeline Lilly's Tauriel by asking if he could have a Jacuzzi dip with her. And, of course, a dancing dwarf is seen in the clip!

The difficulties experienced by the cast and crew while filming several scenes of the movie were also outlined in the video.

"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" will be shown on Dec 13, 2013.
