3. Leonardo DiCaprio

DiCaprio earned $39 million in the past year from movies like The Great Gatsby and The Wolf of Wall Street. He was also nominated five times at the Oscars, although Matthew McConaughey beat him for Best Actor. The Great Gatsby earned $351 million at the global box office, while The Wolf of Wall Street earned close to $400 million.

4. Chris Hemsworth

The Hollywood hunk earned $37 million from June 2013 to June 2014. He earned most of the sum from playing the role of Thor in Thor 2, Avengers, The Dark World and Thor 3. He is currently working with some of the top directors and actors in Hollywood, boosting his fame and value in the process.

5. Liam Neeson

Liam Neeson is one of the most bankable actors in his age. His looks, maturity and husky voice are just some of the reasons why he is almost playable in any movie. He is currently working on Taken 3 and other films and is bound to be included in the list of the top 100 celebrities in 2014.
