2013 has come to a close and welcomes 2014 with open arms embracing the myriads of surprises for this year. The past year was an eventful year in the music industry with Beyonce's album launching, Justin Bieber's meltdown and Miley Cyrus' shocking transformations.
In the past 12 months, we've seen good girls gone wild. A perfect example was Selena Gomez as she tries to heal her broken heart from a very public breakup with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber. New releases from Jay Z, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Kanye West are making headlines, along with the twerking phenomenon.
Here's are the list of Hollywood predictions for 2014:

She is the first true superstar of the social media generation and she's going to take the world by storm. 2014 will only prove that she will have close to 100 million flowers between Twitter and Facebook, a huge fan base that will help her sell more albums despite the critical response to her album.
Justin Bieber - The young pop star will finally retire and this is not a joke. The retirement will last less than a year, according to creators.com. But his return to the music business will be heralded and all Beliebers will be excited about it.
