Another Hollywood actress came out and chose to be true not just to her fans but to herself. The 46-year-old 'Coyote' Ugly actress Maria Bello revealed in an editorial for the New York Times that she's been having a relationship with someone of the same sex.

She opened up some fast facts that she is currently in a relationship with who she considers her best friend too, Clare. The actress also compared her partner to being almost a godmother to her own son.

How Maria Bello Met the Love of Her Life

The actress said that she met Clare in a bar but did not immediately become romantic partners. She emphasised that they had a special connection, but it was not something romantic or sexual yet. Then when the soul-searching phase of her life came around, it's when she realised along with Clare that they can choose to love each other beyond what friendship can offer.

Ms Bello is glad that her loved ones, including her own son and other family members, are all happy for her choice of who to love. "Maybe they weren't so traditional after all," she said when her own father thought her partner was good for her, Seattle PI reported.

In a US Magazine article, it was mentioned that the actress previously dated a woman by the name of Bryn. Her son conceived when she was still in a long time relationship with Dan McDermott, a TV executive.

The 'Prime Suspect' star added too that the father of her son will always be someone she will consider as a partner since they share Jack. If there's one thing that they share the most when it comes to core values is that they both prioritise putting their son first. She also considers her most recent ex as a partner since they share the passion for activism.
