The Star Trek Into Darkness actor and his Glee star partner have called it quits. The couple dated for almost a year.

The two are no longer on speaking terms after ending the relationship bitterly. Sources close to the couple said that the relationship did not end well between the couple.

Quinto was recently seen walking their dogs together with another man, according to PerezHilton.com.

The reason for the breakup remains a mystery.

The 36-year-old Star Trek actor confirmed their relationship in an interview with Out Magazine. He said that he is proud of his sexuality. In the said interview, Quinto shared that he is incredibly happy and incredibly lucky to have Groff in his life.

In fact, in March, there were rumours that the two were already engaged. It was rumoured that Quinto was thinking about asking Groff to marry him as it is the happiest relationship he has ever been in.

The relationship were getting serious but problems brewed when the two started living together.

Groff had stopped work on his new film and flew from New York to Los Angeles to console his best friend Lea Michele amidst the death of Cory Monteith.
