Katy Perry and her rumored new beau, John Mayer, were spotted together attending an extravagant party bash at the house of Michael Kives, a Hollywood talent agent.

The "Part of Me" singer and her date were greeted by wild animals from the conservation and the pair bonded with the furry creatures at the party over the weekend.

According to reports, the couple only had eyes for each other and they definitely enjoyed staying in each other's company the entire night.

"They were really cute. They were standing near each other most of the night, playing with the animals outside," a source told People magazine.

"They almost acted like they've been a couple for a long time. It definitely didn't seem like a new relationship," the source added.

"Gravity" singer John Mayer is well-known in wooing several Hollywood ladies like Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Aniston and Taylor Swift. Now, Mayer is currently linked romantically to Katy Perry who recently got divorced from British comedian Russell Brand.

The two were spotted holding hands across the table while they dined at the Chateau Marmont. The 27-year old Katy Perry was even pictured together with the 34-year old John Mayer leaving the Hollywood nightspot in a Ferrari that is believed to be owned by Mayer.

Meanwhile, the rumored couple is also reported to have enjoyed a number of dates this past week in Los Angeles which includes a dinner date at the Pace restaurant and a rendezvous at the Four Seasons hotel. "Maybe he's a changed man, but Katy likes bad boys," a source told Life & Style.

"I can't imagine John's changed that much. I don't think either of them is trying for anything serious right now. She's not talking like he's The One," another source shared.

"She's comfortable around guys who understand the craziness of that world, which he definitely does," the source further added.
