The Hollywood couple dated for only five months since their corresponding representatives have already confirmed to Us Weekly that the two are no longer together. Leo, 36, and Blake, 24, were first seen together on Steven Spielberg's yacht in Monte Carlo last May during the Cannes Film Festival. During their brief relationship, the couple was seen in Italy, California and New York City. Last August, Blake even flew to Australia for a weekend just to be with Leo while he was filming "The Great Gatsby."

According to the couples' representatives, the "Titanic" star and the "Gossip Girl" actress will still remain good friends even after the reported split.

DiCaprio has dated his share of beauties including Bar Refaeli whom he was with for five years before breaking up and it was just weeks before he got together with Blake. On the other hand, the television star dated her "Gossip Girl" co-star Penn Badgley for three years before that came to an end in October 2010.

The split has come as a surprise as it was recently reported that friends of Leonardo had claimed they had never seen him like that with a girl before. During the summer, it was reported that Blake apparently spent the whole time baking for her man at his Los Angeles home. "Leo's never dated a girl who can cook. And he's smitten!" the insider said.

Blake recently told Glamour magazine that she never takes it too hard when a relationship ends.

"I have a strong sense of myself," she declared. "That gives me a sense of security, you know? Every relationship you have, you're learning and growing and taking something from that. So for me, it's never been too dramatic of a thing when something ends," the actress added further.

What could possibly be the reason for this lovely couple to break up? The reports about their separation came so suddenly without any given reason or explanation.
