Since her ill-fated and much publicized break-up with Brad Pitt, Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston is now reported to be engaged with actor and screenwriter beau Justin Theroux.

The couple both starred in the movie "Wanderlust" and they began dating in May 2011. From that moment, fans have been anxiously waiting for the time that Justin Theroux will propose to Jennifer Aniston so that the couple will live happily ever after.

"Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage," Theroux's representative told People magazine.

The 43-year old actress married Hollywood actor Brad Pitt in 2000 but their marriage failed and ended up in divorce in 2005 after reports of Pitt's infidelity to Aniston with another famous Hollywood actress, Angelina Jolie, who happens to be his co-star in the film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." Meanwhile, 41-year old Theroux has not been previously married.

Jennifer Aniston rose to Hollywood stardom while portraying character Rachel Green in the situation comedy "Friends" that ran on the NBC network for 10 years starting in 1994. In that role, Aniston earned several major awards which include an Emmy and a Golden Globe Award. The actress then starred in a series of successful movies like "She's the One," "The Good Girl," "Bruce Almighty" and "The Break-Up." Aniston even received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame which is a sign of industry recognition for her talent and achievement.

On the other hand, Justin Theroux's career path is much more modest. He is best known for his work in the films "Mulholland Drive" and "Inland Empire." Theroux also portrayed John Hancock in the 2008 HBO TV mini-series "John Adams." As a film director, Theroux worked on his first movie entitled "Dedication" in 2006 which made its debut in 2007 at the Sundance Film Festival.

Theroux and Aniston's engagement has already been expected since the couple purchased a $22 million worth of mansion at an exclusive Bel-Air neighborhood in Los Angeles.

The newly engaged Jennifer Aniston revealed in InStyle magazine's March issue that she is at a joyful and peaceful place right now and she now also knows what exactly she is looking for when it comes to love.
