Welcome to Splitville. According to reports, Hollywood heartthrob Zac Efron and "Mirror Mirror" actress Lily Collins have called their three-month long relationship quits.

A source said that the romance between the two just fizzled out due to conflicts on their very hectic schedules. Efron and Collins ignited a romance speculation after being spotted together last February as the pair enjoyed having an intimate dinner.

Multiple sources have said that neither Efron nor Collins was particularly dead serious about their relationship. "They're no longer together. They were never serious, though. It was just a casual thing and it fizzled. They were never in the same place at the same time," the source told Us Weekly magazine.

"Zac was never very serious about her. He didn't talk about her to friends," another source added. However, other sources claim that Efron and Collins was not even officially a couple in the first place.

"They became friends after being introduced by mutual pals. But the chemistry wasn't there. I can't even remember the last time they saw one another. It's been such a long time. So it never ended, because it never really started," another insider told E!News.

A couple of friends of the pair blamed the equally tough filming and movie promoting schedules of Efron and Collins which they believe kept them apart from each other.

"It's true that their schedules are crazy right now, which isn't conducive to a relationship being easy," a friend said.

However, Zac Efron had previously shared that he loves having the feeling of a romantic attachment to a girl even though it does not work out between them.

"I enjoy romance. I think that's why we're here. It's one of the best feelings you can have, falling in love. It doesn't always have to work out, but when you're in it, it's still the best feeling in the world," Efron said.

The 23-year old Lily Collins had a previous relationship with "Twilight" heartthrob Taylor Lautner. The two starred together in the film "Abduction." Meanwhile, 24-year old Zac Efron had a five year public romance with Vanessa Hudgens, his "High School Musical" co-star. He was also linked to country singer Taylor Swift.
