“Home and Away” recap
In the previous episode, Kat had been shot in the arm during Ranae’s attack at the Morgans’ house. When they spotted Ranae entering the house, the two made a run for it, leaving the USB behind. They managed to escape from her and hide in one of the trailers. When it was safe, Kat and Justin ran to her house.
Later, Tori attended to Kat’s injury. While everyone argued about their next steps, Justin said he’d go outside to talk to their police guards. However, he headed to his house to try getting the USB back. During dinner, they noticed that Justin’s missing, making everyone extremely worried. Meanwhile, at the Morgans, Justin sneaked in but Ranae was there, waiting for him. She tied him up and demanded information from Justin, threatening to hurt his siblings. Just as Ranae was about to shoot Justin, Kat arrived with the other police officers.
At the station, the Morgans were informed that Decker’s files were already sent to the commissioner. Justin was informed that he had to testify and Kat agreed to accompany him. The Morgans went home and relished on the thought that their nightmare’s finally going to be over after seven years and that they can live normally again. The next day, Kat and Justin left for the trial.
Meanwhile, Zac arranged for a surprise romantic dinner with Leah to celebrate their anniversary at Salt. However, he was disheartened when she sent a message that she can’t make it. Later, Bianca walked in, noticed that Zac was missing company and joined him for dinner. The two had a great time flashing back on some memories at first, then their talk shifted to their relationship woes. The two comforted each other and it seemed like they were about to kiss, before Zac pulled away.
