Intense drama and action continue to grip Summer Bay residents on the next episode of “Home and Away.” On Wednesday, Tori Morgan/Tessa Lee (Penny McNamee) makes a confession about Riley Hawkins (Ryan O'Kane). Spoilers hint that he was Tori’s ex-boyfriend, and the two may be rekindling their romance soon.

That would mean that Nate Cooper (Kyle Pryor) once again has to fight for Tori’s heart – but it would be interesting to see if he’ll be up for another love battle. Meanwhile, John Palmer’s (Shane Withington) dark side would backfire on him and put Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) at risk. The upcoming episode also features other “Home and Away” characters Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) and Katarina Chapman (Pia Miller).

“Home and Away” stars Phoebe Nicholson (Isabella Giovinazzo), VJ Patterson (Matthew Little), Hunter King (Scott Lee), Zac Macguire (Charlie Clausen), Evelyn “Evie” MacGuire (Philippa Northeast), Matt Page (Alec Snow), Billie Ashford (Tessa De Josselin), Martin “Ash” Ashford (George Mason), Justin Morgan/Jack Lee (James Stewart), Mason Morgan/Michael Lee (Orpheus Pledger), Brody Morgan/Bart Lee (Jackson Heywood), Olivia Richards (Raechelle Banno), Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemou), Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher) and Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker).

Back to the Bay reports that on Wednesday, Tori comes clean about who Riley is, and how they are related. Meanwhile, Irene is terrified when Mick invades her home. The previous episode showed how Mick assured her there’s nothing to be afraid of – he just wanted to talk. He said he got the help that he needed and that he’s all better. Mick also apologised for kidnapping her and locking her up for six weeks. Irene ordered him to leave, but Mick asked her to give him a chance.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the Feb. 1 episode on its official website. In the trailer, Kat says that the series of fires wasn’t just arson – it’s attempted murder. As revealed in the season finale, John was the culprit starting the fires. However, he feels the consequences of his action when Marilyn is nowhere to be found. Later, he seems to discover her and he immediately calls for an ambulance.

“Home and Away” recap

In the previous episode, Phoebe, John, Zac, Hunter, Evie and Matt continued to be trapped in the old shack as they waited for the bushfire to pass. When it finally did, they debated about staying there or making a run for it. In the end, they decided to take a risk and get out and look for help. After a few minutes of walking, they finally spotted the rescue team, much to everyone’s relief.

At the hospital, things weren’t looking good for Justin as he continued to fight for his life. He needed to be operated on immediately, but the surgeon hasn’t arrived yet. Tori was willing to throw the ethics book out the window and perform the surgery herself. At that point, the surgeon arrived and he immediately recognised Tori and Justin. After the surgery, which went well, Riley tried to catch up with Tori, but she had other things on her mind. Later, Justin woke up and he was immediately surrounded by his siblings. They were unaware that Ranae’s outside, dressed up as a doctor, watching them intently.

Billie’s baby was also at great risk, but she insisted having a natural delivery. As she’s giving birth, VJ called Leah, asked her to contact Ash so they could go to the hospital right away. Later, it was an emotional moment when Billie finally gave birth to her baby, as Leah and VJ looked on happily. However, their happy moment got cut short when she found a difficult time breathing. Shortly after, Nate said Billie was out of the woods. While waiting for Billie to wake up, Leah and VJ fussed with the baby. Leah was surprised that VJ and Billie would name their daughter Luke. Later, Ash arrived at the hospital and met his niece. He also went to Billie’s room to talk to his sister, who was still unconscious.
