“Home and Away” recap
In the previous episode, Mason noticed that Olivia’s acting a bit off. The next day, he learned that Hunter pitched in to help her run The Pier. When Mason asked why Olivia didn’t tell him about it earlier, she got all defensive and snapped at him. Later, Mason went to confront Hunter and asked him if he’s out to get Olivia back. Hunter assured him that they’ve both moved on but Mason didn’t seem convinced. Hunter then talked to Olivia and told her that they can’t be friends with each other. “The only way we could move on properly is if we stop being in each other’s lives,” he said, leaving Olivia completely stunned.
Justin continued trying to reach out to Nina to no avail. Phoebe encouraged him to keep trying, convinced that Nina Gilbert (Zoe Naylor) is bound to cave in soon. Things made a turn for the worse, however, when Nina changed her number so Justin won’t be able to contact her. Phoebe suggested driving all the way to her place or trying to send Nina an e-mail but Justin shot down both ideas. Instead, he said he wants to consult a lawyer to find out what his rights are as a father. When he left to get some dinner, Phoebe searched online for Nina and decided to send her a message.
Tori was having second thoughts about going out with Riley for drinks and decided to have a picnic with him instead. Phoebe and Raffy offered to help Tori get ready for her big date. Evie arrived and joined in the fun, lending Tori a beautiful dress for the afternoon. During their date, Riley and Tori took a trip down memory lane and as he leaned in for a kiss, she pulled away. He begged her to give him another chance and it didn’t seem Tori needs any more convincing.
Elsewhere, John seemed to have trouble remembering things. Later that night, he was seen wearing his black hoodie and getting some gas containers. It looked like he’s planning to start another fire.
