“Home and Away” recap
On Monday, Phoebe and Billie kicked VJ out of their house after the little party he threw got out of hand. Expectedly, he wasn’t stoked about it and continued being rude to Leah and Zac. The two finally had enough and told him it’s time to show them some respect. VJ realised he’s being a jerk, and made an effort to patch things up with his mum. However, his act may had been motivated by his request: to let Billie move back there with them. When Leah expressed her disagreement, VJ said he won’t live there without Billie.
Later, VJ went to Billie to apologise. When she seemed to warm up to him, VJ brought up the subject of going back to Billie’s house. She said, however, that he can’t move back in, believing that he’s not ready to take that step yet.
Elsewhere, John and Marilyn were struggling with dealing with their foster child Jordan, especially after he got into a fight with Hunter. Jordan explained that it was Hunter who attacked him and he just protected himself. John let him off the hook, but made him promise not to do something like that again.
Meanwhile, Olivia lashed at Hunter for his rowdy behaviour the other night, and he wasn’t exactly happy about it. Later, Olivia asked Hunter to apologise to Jordan but he refused. Jordan questioned her why she’s with him, saying that she deserves better.
Tori and her brothers are having cabin fever as they continue to be holed up in their home, waiting for advice from their with their witness protection officer, Decker. Tori called Decker, who informed her that they need to move again. While the authorities are not sure who’s after them, the Morgan family was advised to get as far away from Summer Bay. Brody was devastated – he was working hard on rebuilding the restaurant with Phoebe. Mason, on the other hand, secretly shared their plans to his girlfriend, Lara.
As the Morgans were preparing to leave, Brody and Justin overheard Mason talking with Lara on the phone. Justin lashed at him for being stubborn and pried the phone away from Mason. Tori sided with Justin and said Mason cannot contact Lara anymore and put their lives at risk again. However, they soon found out that Mason’s missing. He left a note saying he’s off to see Lara. “If they find him, they’re going to kill him,” Justin said.
Later, a strange man approached Phoebe at the restaurant and asked for Brody. When she said she doesn’t know his whereabouts, the man told her she better make sure she’s telling the truth, raising a red flag for Phoebe. The man was back again shortly after, still looking for Brody. She decided to inform Brody and left a message on his phone.
