‘Home and Away’ spoilers for Sept 26: Phoebe earns herself a new rival; Olivia fights to free herself from tormentor

An emotionally charged day awaits Summer Bay on the upcoming episode of “Home and Away.” On Monday, Phoebe Nicholson (Isabella Giovinazzo) finds another reason to dislike the new girl in town. Hope Morrison (Jessica Falkholt) seems determined to romantically pursue Justin Morgan (James Stewart) and this does not sit well at all with Phoebe. The two ladies have started on the wrong foot, and competing over one man is the last thing they need right now.

Meanwhile, Olivia Richards (Raechelle Banno) still reels from the Tabitha Ford’s (Eliza Scanlen) latest stunt. Olivia lashes at her former friend for bringing out old wounds. Other “Home and Away” cast members who will also appear on the upcoming installment include Hunter King (Scott Lee), Katarina Chapman (Pia Miller), Martin “Ash” Ashford (George Mason), Tori Morgan (Penny McNamee) , Brody Morgan (Jackson Heywood) and Mason Morgan (Orpheus Pledger).

Back to the Bay reports that on Monday’s run, Kat attempts to have a second chance to revive her career with Ash’s help. Meanwhile, Hope thrusts herself into Justin’s world. Elsewhere, Olivia hopes to put her demons behind her.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the upcoming episodes. In the trailer, Olivia blows her top when she sees Tabitha at school. Meanwhile, Ellie sets the school on fire and begs Matt not to turn her in. Elsewhere, Phoebe’s annoyed that Hope and Justin seem to be getting closer, and even sees the two sharing a kiss.

“Home and Away” recap

In the previous episode, Olivia was nervously preparing for her big date with Hunter when she got a message from Winnie Hartman that Kirk Shepard, a doctor, abused her too. Oliva was completely shell-shocked, but continued chatting with the girl. Winnie told her that Kirk was arrested for abusing her, but he’s out again since the police wanted more evidence. Olivia asked what she can do to get him jailed again, and Winnie said she had to tell her own story. When Olivia confirmed that she’ll help by revealing the truth, the person she’s talking to said he’s just pretending to be Winnie – he said he’s Kirk. Things turned even more horrifying when he seemed to know what Olivia’s wearing, like he’s just somewhere near, watching her. He also threatened that she’ll make a scandalous video public if she doesn’t do everything he says.

Meanwhile, Hunter went all-out to make sure his date with Olivia would be special. He even asked Alf for some odd jobs to earn money for the date. Later, Hunter waited for Olivia to show up and when she didn’t, he tried to call her but she didn’t answer. He then went to her house to check on her, but instead of an excited Olivia, she was acting weird and cancelled their date. Hunter was completely devastated, but noticed Olivia’s shaking and wondered what’s wrong. Oliva made up some story and bid goodbye to Hunter. Shortly after, he went back to make sure Olivia’s all right, but she lashed at him and kicked him out. “You and me, it’s never going to happen,” she said.

Hunter went to Irene to tell her what happened, and spotted Tabitha busy with her laptop. He confronted her and when he and Irene were about to leave, he noticed that Tabitha’s talking to Olivia. It turned out Tabitha was pretending to be Kirk all along. Irene hurried home to comfort Olivia, who was in a complete state. The police arrested Tabitha for tormenting Olivia. Later, Olivia went to talk to Hunter and apologised for the things that she said. She also thanked him for rescuing her from Tabitha. However, Olivia was traumatised about what happened and when Hunter tried to touch her, she pulled away and left.

Elsewhere, Hope was getting to Phoebe’s nerves, and the latter shared this with Justin. Hope apologised to Phoebe and said she’d like to be friends. However, things still seemed weird between the two ladies.
