‘Home Sick’ Miley Cyrus Gets Stolen Maserati Back
Miley Cyrus's Maserati, which had been stolen, was found by the police.
The highly expensive car was found parked on a Simi Valley street. A passer-by spotted the car and informed the police, TMZ reported. The police are now dusting the vehicle for fingerprints, according to reports. The Maserati was found with no damage. Law enforcement officers are presently investigating the surveillance video from Miley's residence, so that the thieves could be tracked down.
Miley's home was burglarised twice in the last 7 months. The most recent incident happened when a couple of thieves jumped over the fence on Friday, May 30, at around 4 o'clock in the afternoon. The residence situated in the hills of LA Studio City of the 21-year-old singer was allegedly robbed. The thieves took her 2014 Maserati Quattroporte, along with some jewellery.
Miley was not at home when the burglary took place as she is presently touring Europe as a part of her Bangerz tour. Daily Mail reported that Miley had been occasionally seen in the new white Maserati Quattroporte starting at $102,500. The jewellery which was stolen from Miley's residence was worth $100,000. It was the assistant of the singer who discovered that the items had been missing. The assistant noticed that some of Miley's belongings were not in the same place after coming home. However, there was no sign of forced entry to the singer's residence.
Miley, on the other hand, seemed quite unperturbed on Twitter. She never mentioned anything about the burglary. She tweeted about how homesick she was. She also tweeted how much she had missed her deceased pet dog Floyd. "If it wasn't for the show tonight I would lay in bed and miss Floyd alllllll day," she wrote. She posted a video on Instagram that showed her singing holding a soft toy dog.
Miley tweeted on April 2 that her beloved dog Floyd had passed away. "I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real... But my precious baby Floyd has passed away," she wrote.
