“Homeland” Season 3, Episode 9 features Carrie Mathison waking up at the hospital. After being shot in the shoulder by Peter Quinn in last week’s episode, Sgt. Nick Brody’s former lover was brought to the facility. Has she lost the baby?

In the first scene of this week’s episode, “Horse Wagon,” Carrie was seen waking up in the first scene of the promotional clip released by Showtime.

The top CIA agent went down onto the pavement on Episode 8, “A Red Wheelbarrow,” when she was shot by Quinn in the shoulder. The CIA officer was forced to stop Carrie from blowing off the months of operation the government has against Iran and those behind the destructive Langley bombing.

Quinn and the team was led by Dar Adal, the retired black ops specialist who is now working for Saul Berenson, the current CIA chief.

Carrie wanted to stop Adal’s team from killing the man who she believed and was tipped off as the man behind the Langley bombing. The soon-to-be-mother of Brody’s baby didn’t want the operatives to gun down the man who she believed would play a big role in clearing Brody’s name.

Brody is the number one most wanted man in America after hundreds of U.S. and top CIA officials was killed when a bomb in the war veteran’s car blew off at the funeral service of VP Finn Walden.

Now Carrie has the chance to prove it was not Brody as suspected by America.

Quinn thought that she will do more harm than good when she ran out of the truck to the warehouse and the CIA field officer shot Carrie after giving her warning that he would take the shot.

Carrie went down and was brought to the hospital. The first promotional clip released by Showtime showed her speaking to the doctor and explaining her conditions.

This had sparked speculations that Carrie may have lost the baby.

Has she? What would Brody think if he found out that Carrie failed to keep the baby. When will they be reunited?

“Homeland” Season 3, Episode 9, “One Last Time” airs on Showtime, 9pm ET/PT, Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013.
