When "Homeland" Season 4 premieres, fans will see the beginning of Carrie Mathison's new adventure. The CIA intelligence officer has been transferred to a new station located away from her home somewhere in South Asia. The new mission will take her to places like Kabul and Islamabad.

Recently, Spoilers TV released the synopsis of Episode 1 "The Drone Queen." The press release teases action packed Premiere. The media report suggests that the upcoming segment will also see the return of the two main cast members.

According to the synopsis of "Homeland" Season 4 Episode 1, Carrie Mathison "returns to the states for an inquiry." As for the Rupert Friend's character Quinn, the CIA officer will be seen dealing with an unlikely challenge. The spoilers note that Quinn "spirals out of control." Furthermore, a dishonored officer will dish out some significant details.

In the new season, fans will see Carrie as CIA station chief in Kabul, Afghanistan. The description of the episode on Showtime's official website hints at a "critical decision" that Carrie will make in Episode 1. One photo shows a brief moment of celebration for Carrie and her team at the station. Another picture shows Carrie at work. Furthermore, photos tease "Life of Pi" actor Suraj Sharma's "Homeland" debut.

In other news, actor Damian Lewis, who played the fan-favourite character Brody, was seen at the "Homeland" sets. Mirror UK reported that the actor was spotted "leaving his trailer" located at the sets in Cape Town, South Africa. This has led to the rampant speculations of his character's return. However, many media outlets speculate that the actor might just be seen in flashbacks to Carrie and he may currently be filming those sequences.
