A homeless Chinese woman has set up a home in the most unlikely place. On top of a 20ft tree.

At first shoppers along the busy Chinese City of Lanzhou in Gansu province were puzzled where a loud snoring noise was coming from.

But when they look up, they saw a homeless woman curled up and sound asleep while perched on a narrow tree branch.

People were surprised how that woman managed to sleep in her very dangerous position. She could fell and seriously hurt herself.

One shopper commented, "We wouldn't have known where the snoring was coming from except one of her shoes fell off and hit someone on the head."

The police later arrived to tell the woman to go down and gave her some food. It was not know if the woman was moved to a shelter or not.
