Hospital Scan Claiming A Baby Girl Proves Wrong As The Shocked Pregnant Mum Gives Birth To A Baby Boy

A chill had run down the spine of the couple who were expecting their first baby when a hospital scan revealed that it's a girl. The friends and relatives of the parents-to-be started to gift everything pink—clothes, blankets and other accessories for the newborn baby girl, while the excited dad painted the baby room pink.

But Claire Sunmers and Chris received a beautiful surprise when the expecting mother gave birth to a baby boy after bearing labour pain for 30 hours. The 36-year-old dad revealed that they could not believe that it was a boy since the hospital scan clearly said that it will be a girl.

The couple was told by the hospital sonographer during the 21 weeks of pregnancy scan that they are expecting a baby girl.

“We were supposed to be having little Bo but it turned out to be little Jack,” said Chris, reported The Mirror. “We had told everyone, painted the room and chosen the name and everything,” he continued.

The 37-year-old mother from Brighton shared her feelings saying, “After he was delivered, we asked ‘is she alright,’ and the doctor made this face and said ‘he’s a boy.' I was completely shocked and then I had a little boy handed to me,” reported The Mirror.

“He is an adorable baby and he looks pretty in pink - as pretty as a baby boy can look in pink,” she continued.

Just after 24 hours of this beautiful incident, another story of a couple Kyle and Danielle William came up who had delivered a baby boy. The couple was told in October during a scan that they were expecting a baby girl.
