Hotel in Mexico introduces world’s most expensive ice lolly
At $1,000 or £600, the Marquis Los Cabos resort in Baja California Sur, a hotel resort in Mexico, has introduced the world's most expensive ice lolly.
The popsicle is made from premium tequila which sells for £900 per bottle, and is served on a plastic stick.
Bosses at the hotel said that the popsicle which is made from Tequilas Premium Clase Azul Ultra, also comes with 24 ct. gold flakes.
What's more surprising, is that the hotel's management is expecting brisk sales for the popsicle despite its price.
"From mini-indulgences like the Tequila Pop to indulgent fantasy services and programs, Marquis Los Cabos allows guests to personalise their hotel stay as part of the resort's new approach to service," said general manager Ella Messerli.
But for those who are thinks that a $1,000 is too expensive, maybe they can try a a straight shot of the Clase Azul Ultra - a relative bargain at £300 a shot.
