How to Block Those Annoying Bitstrips or Comic Strips on Facebook?
Are you really annoyed by the comic strips flooding your Facebook News Feed? Have cartoon avatars taken over your Facebook Timeline homepage making it look like a long cartoon strip and you want to block it? Here you will find exactly how to block annoying Bitstrips or those comic strips on your Facebook page.
By now we all know what the new App Bitstrips could do to our Facebook page. For those who don't, it is a Facebook mobile app that helps Facebook users to turn themselves into a cool cartoon avatar and update their friends about their moods and activities in the form of comic strips. Bitstrips app has received mixed reaction. A lot of people are now annoyed and looking for ways to block it.
How to Block Bitstrips on Facebook?
There are two ways to block the updates from Bitstrips app.
Blocking Bitstrips from Account Settings
When you login to your Facebook page, click on Account Settings tab. Next, look for "Manage Blocking," once you figure that, scroll down to "Block Apps." Click there and feed in "Bitstrips" in the box where it says "Type the name of the app."
Blocking Bitstrips from News Feed
To remove Bitstrips from Facebook News Feed, look for a Bitstrips post in your News Feed on you Facebook Timeline page. Once you have located one of those annoying comic strips, look at the right hand corner. There you will find a faded, downwards arrow, click on it. As you click on it a drop-down menu will appear. There will be four options on the drop-down menu. Ignore all of the above and move down to the one which says "hide all from Bitstrips," click on it. You will see all Bitstrips posts will hide and no new Bitstrips posts will ever appear in your Facebook News Feed.
