How Celebrities stars spend Thanksgiving Day
Everyone has their own version of a Thanksgiving feast. For some it's Turkey and stuffed cheesy potatoes, others its sweet potato mash and fixings, a lot go for both.
But whether you're a prodigal child come back to reunite with loved ones, or you're the one doing the cooking and baking and accommodating, each person wants their Thanksgiving to be just so; and more often than not, everybody turns to their childhood favourites when thinking about what to serve their guests for the holidays.
Celebrities are no different. They may have the bigger and, well, higher pay check, and a fabulous 5 star chef to cook for them but the truth is, they want the comforting home cooked fare as much as everyone else.
Emma Stone, who has had a most amazing year so far, is planning to learn how to make pumpkin pie but when asked if she will be using the read deal or settle for canned filling, the actress admitted that she was leaning towards the canned section.
"Glee" star Lea Michele is a vegetarian and is sticking to sides as she does most years. Still, she's excited for her aunt's antipasti and a huge chunk of Italian bread; she's also excited about getting the leftovers.
Courtney Cox likes to bring out her southern roots this time of the year. Cox says that in Alabama, the most important things aside from being grateful is a can of La Sueur peas, French fried onions and cheddar cheese.
Rock star Richie Sambora is all about the turkey, he doesn't care about the stuffing but the Turkey has to be good.
"I've spent a lot of Thanksgivings on the road with my band, so anytime that I can spend Thanksgiving with my family in a traditional aspect, eating sweet potatoes and cranberries and stuffing and all the trappings of Thanksgiving and then get on a treadmill the next day extra long, I'm happy," Sambora said, showing us that in the end, Thanksgiving is really all about togetherness and tradition after all.
