Show creator Pete Nowalk had talked about Wes’ (Alfred Enoch) killer earlier and promised that all questions regarding his death will be answered when the show returns. Nowalk also said that this upcoming episode will consist of flashbacks that take place at the time when Wes was left at the police station. It also covers the fire in Annalise’s house to reveal what exactly happened to him in those hours.
Enoch revealed in an interview with Variety that his character’s killer will be revealed very soon. As of now, speculations on who the killer could be include Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) or Charles Mahoney (Wilson Bethel). Enoch believed that the killer could be Frank after he gave off that queer look when Bonnie (Liza Weil) told him that Laurel (Karla Souza) was pregnant.
The official synopsis for this episode says that the Keating Four will struggle in accepting that one of them is already gone for good. However, although the four appear to be grieving the death of Wes, someone is speculated to be rejoicing deep inside. Some rumours point out that Connor (Jack Falahee) could be the killer, since the two have been mortal enemies and Connor hated Wes so much and had already threatened to kill him before.
The reactions, however, look real on the side of Asher (Matt McGory), Michaela (Aja King) and Laurel. When Bonnie revealed that Wes had died, Michaela cried hard while Asher looked shocked and numb. Laurel was still at the hospital, and she also cried hard upon learning of the news. Some sources say that Wes might be the father of Laurel’s baby.
This episode of “How to Get Away With Murder” will air on Thursday, January 26, at 10 p.m. on ABC. It airs on Channel Seven in Australia.
