The mid-season finale of “How to Get Away With Murder” had finally revealed something that viewers wanted to know for quite some time already -- the dead person behind the white sheet was Wes (Alfred Enoch). If that is surprising, it looks like they did not stop at that because it was also revealed that Wes had been dead even before the house caught fire. Now that these explosive plotlines are in the open, fans of the show are raving to know what happens next.

Earlier, viewers saw Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) get arrested for murder when Wes was revealed to be the dead person beneath the sheet. The police had tried to turn Wes into their primary witness against the case for Annalise when Rebecca’s (Katie Findlay) body was discovered.
Recently, it has been confirmed that Ms. Cicely Tyson, who has been seen on HTGAWM earlier as Annalise’s mother, will appear once again. The veteran actress had been nominated for an Emmy for her portrayal of Annalise’s mother, Ophelia Harkness.
Executive producer Pete Nowalk had confirmed that Ophelia will be coming back, which is obviously and important plotline, especially when Annalise’s parents find out that their daughter had been arrested for murder. Nowalk also thinks that Annalise’s parents are going to have a very strong reaction and is excited for viewers to witness how that unfolds, writes Entertainment Weekly.
Tyson is no stranger to “How to Get Away With Murder.” In fact, she had already appeared in the first two seasons. She was seen when Annalise refused to get out of bed upon learning of Sam’s (Tom Verica) death and again when Annalise went back home to spend some time with her family. Nowalk even says that they really put in efforts to accommodate her character once in a while as that the season would not be complete without her.
“How to Get Away With Murder” will return to the small screen on January 26 at 10 p.m. on ABC in the US. It also airs on Channel Seven in Australia.
