How I Met Your Mother Season 8 finale is expected to leave its viewers with some mind-boggling cliffhangers in two weeks' time. The ninth and final HIMYM season will then tie all the loose ends. Season 9 is hoped to answer all the questions the viewers have ever had since the show's pilot. So for this season's finale, we expect a bombardment of more questions.

How I Met Your Mother's Aunt Robin and Uncle Barney are getting married. But will they actually get to exchange vows? Cobie Smulders (Robin Scherbatsky) and Neil Patrick Harris (Barney Stinson) dish their HIMYM finale thoughts in a special CBS video. They talk about some "little doubts," and how changing Barney is not as simple as some viewers hoped it would be.

"What's happening at the end of the season is that Barney is having this bachelor party," says Cobie. This party kicks off on How I Met Your Mother Season 8, Monday's episode, "The Bro Mitzvah." This is the first of the HIMYM Season 8 finale trifecta. Taking the Hebrew word "mitzvah," we can only assume Barney is leaving some "commandments" of some sort to his single male friends. We can also assume the guys (or just Barney) will be having lots of fun in this episode. But how will the girls take it?

As the party progresses, Cobie says Barney's recent actions are "taking him back to where he used to be" and this is "making Robin have little doubts." In the last (weird) episode, viewers saw Ted asking Barney to dial down his enthusiasm for other girls, especially when Robin's around. Barney uncharacteristically took offense and sort of told Ted off for stepping out of his boundaries. We also remember that Robin and Barney were freaking out just minutes before their wedding ("little ways down the road," Season 8 premiere). We knew something bad is coming up.

"It's a tricky dynamic. You don't want Barney to end up as some, you know, vanilla regular dude that's like whipped over some chick. That's exactly what he hasn't been (until he gets engaged with Robin)," says Harris. Scroll down to watch this CBS video.
