Canadian actress Cobie Smulders and the rest of the crew and cast members are currently dedicated at work for Season 9, the final season of the TV comedy series "How I Met Your Mother." The 31-year-old actress, who portrays Robin Scherbatsky, has revealed that mixed emotions are now filling the set of "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 as the end nears.

"Some days, it's business as usual and others it's really nostalgic. It is joy, sadness and overwhelming gratitude for having been employed for a good nine years. How often does that happen in this industry?" Ms Smulders shared. HIMYM Season 9 is scheduled to premiere on Monday, September 23.

Cobie Smulders will be reprising her role as well in Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." as character Agent Maria Hill. She will appear in a cameo during the pilot episode which premieres on September 24.

When asked if she is ready to become a regular face in the Marvel series, Cobie Smulders admitted she is open to return as the female agent character on a regular basis given that the story has good quality. "I'm up for it. It's just a matter of the direction that they decide to go with the show. I don't know how much they'll be at the Command Center and how much they need me around. If it works out organically with the story line, then I'd be happy to come in but I truly don't know," the actress stated.

Furthermore, Cobie Smulders expressed her excitement to work again with director Joss Whedon for the pilot episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." as well as Joss' brother Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen. "They're all geniuses. Joss sent me my scenes and it was so great to see this character interacting in a different way and to basically get to tell the world that Coulson is 'alive' and back with a TV show where you can watch him every week. I was excited about that more than anything," Cobie shared.

The actress may be up for the new role but she sounded hesitant about staying in Los Angeles again to film the series just like what she did for "How I Met Your Mother." Ms Smulders stated: "It's hard to say. I'm planning a big move to New York, so that's a pretty huge factor in doing another series in Los Angeles. This is the joy and the terror of coming off of a show after nine years: What should I do, what should I not do?! If the right project comes along, of course I'd return to TV. But I'd like to focus in film and on theater right now."
