A cast member of "How I Met Your Mother" teased the fans on what will happen in the upcoming 200th episode of "How I Met Your Mother" in Season 9. Canadian actress Cobie Smulders, who portrays Robin Scherbatsky in the CBS sitcom, talked about the grand appearance of "The Mother" in Episode 16 titled "How Your Mother Met Me" including the famous yellow umbrella. Will the two women in Ted Mosby's (Josh Radnor) life finally meet?

"We finally get to see what happened at the club with the yellow umbrella!" Cobie Smulders excitedly revealed in The Loop report. "It's basically what's been going on in her life in the last nine years. We get to kind of see how [she and Ted] just miss each other. That episode is a lot about tying up loose ends and showing fans what they want to see," the actress added.

Ms Smulders further expressed her excitement for co-star Cristin Milioti starring in the entire episode. "I feel like she's always in these quick scenes with us, and she never gets a chance to shine so much," Cobie explained.

It has been previously announced that the 200th episode will focus on The Mother where her life for the past 8 years will be presented. Unfortunately, the episode will not feature the first meeting of Robin, Ted's past, and The Mother, Ted's future.

It turns out Robin will be meeting her mother, according to the Fashion & Style report. The HIMYM creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas are even on the hunt for an actress to portray the role.

Cobie Smulders has no idea who the creators and executive producers have in mind for Robin's mother but the actress shared her personal casting choices. "I pitched Annette Benning. I would really like that. Mary McDonald I think I pitched too," Ms Smulders revealed.

She further added: "It should be an interesting Canadian callback. I don't know she's going to be abooting it all over the place, but I think she lives up in Canada, so that should be cool."

"How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 will return on January 13, 2014 with Episode 14 titled "Slapsgiving 3: Slappointment in Slapmarra" airing at 7 p.m. central time on the CBS network. The one-sentence CBS episode summary reads, "In an attempt to deliver a devastating final slap to Barney, Marshall explains how he mastered the Slap of A Million Exploding Suns."
