"How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 premiere is just days away and details about actress Cristin Milioti continue to spill since she will be portraying the very important role of "The Mother." In an interview with TV Line, Ms Milioti revealed how she felt an instant connection with co-star Josh Radnor, who portrays future husband Ted Mosby, during their chemistry read.

"I just felt an instant connection with him from the moment we met each other. I did. [Laughs] I won't speak for him, but I certainly did. There's an ease there. He's just the loveliest guy. So immediately, I felt very safe with him. We were making each other laugh. It was great. You can never predict. Chemistry is extremely unpredictable. And it just so happened to be there," the 28-year-old Broadway actress shared.

The new cast member even teased the HIMYM fans that they will see "a very exciting amount" of her character and Ted Mosby together. "We just shot an episode this week. I'm sworn to secrecy, but I think it will be such an exciting episode for the fans," Cristin revealed.

Additionally, Cristin Milioti talked about having an amazing and wonderful time working as a newbie in the HIMYM TV series production. Who could blame her to feel that way especially if the cast members and crew gave her a warm welcome.

"It's just been like a warm, fuzzy, wonderful experience. Surreal moments probably include when I was given an official parking spot. I was very excited. Certainly on set, I've had to pinch myself and be like, 'Oh, my God, I'm working on this fantastic comedy show with all these wonderful people'," the actress gushed.

In a recently released behind-the-scenes video, actress Cristin Milioti also described what her character is like in the upcoming "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 and explained why she is perfect for Ted Mosby. "I think she's a loveable nerd. I think she's a history nerd, I think she's a music nerd, she's like a literary nerd, she's very funny, hopelessly awkward. She's actually kind of a little bit like the female version of Ted, I think," Cristin divulged.

Onscreen partner Josh Radnor weighed in as well on Cristin Milioti joining the HIMYM cast by admitting his excitement that the fans got the chance first of getting to know "The Mother" before Ted Mosby finally meets her. The actor stated: "There was always the question of when will we meet this gal? Will it be the last moment of the series, he turns and there she is? Will we never see her? And I thought it was really smart to introduce her at the end of last season and now they're threading her through the season," he says.

The hour-long Season 9 premiere of "How I Met Your Mother" is scheduled on Monday, September 23, at 8 p.m. on the CBS network.
