Cristin's mother character has so far met Lily (Alyson Hannigan) and Barney. Pre-Season 9 spoilers already disclosed Ted Mosby will be the last to meet the mother. Fans are guessing Cristin and Cobie Smulders, who plays Robin, will have scenes together in early January 2014 episode(s).

How I Met Your Mother Season 9 is the final season of the series. Its spin-off, "How I Met Your Dad," is reportedly in the works, but none of the HIMYM cast will be joining the new show. "How Your Mother Met Me" is the final season's 16th episode, airing Jan. 27 on the U.S. network CBS. There are 24 episodes in HIMYM's final season.
