The "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 finale is airing on March 31 on CBS. The show's co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas have warned fans the next two months could be quite emotional. Here is a quick look back into the questions that the show has answered so far, as well as some of the remaining questions.

Some HIMYM fans' burning questions have been answered since the premiere of How I Met Your Mother Season 9. Here are some of the answered questions:

1. What is Barney Stinson's job? Swarley's job is called "PLEASE." (He has been answering the question all along.) The acronym means: Provide Legal Exculpation and Sign Everything.

2. What are the names of Ted Mosby's (and the titular mother's) kids? Luke and Penny. Avid HIMYM viewers know Ted has disclosed his desired name for a son in How I Met Your Mother Season 1. Originally, tho, Ted wanted to name his daughter Leia from "Star Wars." There's a Mosbeus story behind Penny's name. But the reasons have yet to be revealed.

3. How did the mother react to Ted's classroom mistake? She (Cristin Milioti) laughs at his joke, and then she leaves the classroom when Ted welcomes the crowd to his Architecture class. The two nearly bumps into each other at the campus, while Ted is running to the right classroom.

Being the farewell season, fans are expecting How I Met Your Mother Season 9 to neatly tie up all the loose ends. On Reddit, Thomas and Bays announced they might even reveal more about Trudy's pineapple, or the pineapple that got to Ted's room on the same night as Trudy did.

When a Redditor asked whether the How I Met Your Mother series ending would make her cry, the showrunners said there will be tears in the next two months.

The next new episode (HIMYM 9x18), "Rally," was written by the co-creators Bays and Thomas and directed by Pamela Fryman. Fans should not miss this episode.

There are only six episodes left in last two months of How I Met Your Mother Season 9. The original air date for HIMYM 9x18 is Feb. 24. Every week from that point, there will be a new HIMYM episode until the 1-hour series finale.
