There are 33 hours to go before the big wedding in "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9. Episode 8 ("The Lighthouse") finally brings back Cristin Milioti in one epic proposal scene. "It's like traveling back in time," Ted and the mother both said - two years apart. Viewers still don't know her name, though.

In an emotional conclusion to their silly feud, Loretta Stinson and Robin hug it out, marking the beginning of what seems to be a lovely mom and daughter-in-law relationship. "The Lighthouse" also reveals to the viewers the answer to one of several HIMYM burning questions:

Does Barney Stinson know Robin can't have kids?

And the answer, How I Met Your Mother Season 9, reveals, is yes, Barney knows. He shows a rare sensitive Barney moment when he learns that Robin is unable to conceive. Then he does it again when he tells his worried mom that he's marrying a girl more important to him than having kids. Moments like this make Ted Mosby - Robin shippers smile and say, maybe they really are the better pair, after all.

"My name's mom. Don't you ever call me anything else." This is one of the most touching lines in the entire HIMYM series, ever. It would've weighed less if it were said by other guests and characters, but it's Barney's mom to Robin, just moments after the bride has learned her mom won't make it to the wedding. (Spoilers, however, indicate the viewers will get to meet Robin's mom and stepmom in some hilarious episodes.)

The Lighthouse: Wrong Girl, Right Place

"How many places have I ruined by being there with the wrong girl?" Ted Mosby throws a rhetorical at Lily. It's quite simple, though. He can come back to those places with the right girl. Future Ted Mosby calls himself stupid for having believed he's out of lighthouses. Two years later, he's proposing to the one, to the titular mother!

Remember the "Time Travelers" episode? How can an avid HIMYM fan not think of this episode when both Ted and the mother say, "It's like traveling back in time" up in the lighthouse?

Cassie (Anna Camp) and Ted Mosby climbed up the lighthouse and Ted realizes he's in the right place but with the wrong girl. As in almost every How I Met Your Mother episode, he's about to give up on his search for his happy ending. It turns out, however, that he can go back to the right place with the right girl.

Cristin Milioti has said in previous reports that she's excited for fans to see a scene she's done with Josh Radnor in a special November episode. This must be it: How Ted Mosby proposed to the mother. It's a no-fuss, no special effects moment, but Cristin's reaction and her good chemistry with Josh just makes the quick flashforward really magical.

How I Met Your Mother Season 9, Episode 8 reveals one more thing about the mother: Ted Mosby barfs, she barfs, too. Perhaps there will be more on that later. Watch a sneak peek clip of Episode 9 below.
