Just weeks away from today, the season 9 of ' How I met your mother' is going to give you a heady mix of romance , emotions and probably heart breaks. And here is what you can expect from the season:

1.According to the makers of the series Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, 'the mother (Cristin Milioti) would not meetTed Mosby (Josh Radnor) till everyone else from the cast meets her. Lily (Alyson Hannigan) would be the first one to meet Millioti's character.

2.Robin and Barney who in Season 8 decided to take a car ride to Farhampton (where their wedding is scheduled), would get overly concerned about each other families. There will asol be this particular person from either's family who would make the couple uncomfortable.

3.Marshall (Jason Segel) who without Lily's consent, took the decision of taking judgeship in season 8, would lose control when Serri Shepherd would take a seat next to him in the train to Farhampton.

4.Ted Mosby liking for a parks and recreation places staffer would be revealed and Lily while staying in the Farhampton Inn would ask for a 'Kennedy Package' which would turn into a hilarious joke during the whole season.

6.The name of the mother would be revealed in the last few episodes of the season and the slow-jam version of the "Bang bang bangity bang" song would be a recurring background score.

7.And finally Ted Mosby would consider his feeling for the 'mother' and as evident from the promo someone who would ruin Barney's and Robin Wedding. And to find out whom it would be catch "How I Met Your Mother" season 9 premieres at 8 p.m on 23 September.
