'How I Met Your Mother' Season 9 is marking another milestone with its first ever attendance to the San Diego Comic-Con in June. Will the actress playing the titular mother, Cristin Milioti, be in attendance?

How I Met Your Mother joins 10 other programs produced by 20th Century Fox TV in the comic con. Those thinking of donning the Robin Sparkles costume would certainly bring a new flavour to the gathering.

Here is a snippet of the full list of June 2013 San Diego Comic-Con attendees:

"For the first time ever, the hit sitcom visits Comic-Con to kick off its final season with an exclusive look at the show and a panel featuring Josh Radnor (Happythankyoumoreplease),) Cobie Smulders (The Avengers), Neil Patrick Harris (Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog) and Alyson Hannigan (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) and executive producers Carter Bays, Craig Thomas and Pamela Fryman."

Cristin Milioti's name may or may have not been left out on purpose. A little surprise is always welcome. How I Met Your Mother Season 9 adds a regular cast for the first (and last) time. Cristin is expected to be present in all 20 or so episodes of HIMYM final season.

It has been revealed in spoiler updates that all of Season 9 takes place in the weekend of Robin's and Barney's wedding. HIMYM showrunners themselves confirm this. Fans can expect a lot of flashbacks and flash forwards, in this case.

Many speculations have been making rounds on TV forum sites. How I Met Your Mother Season 9 could be only a few episodes long, says some rumours. CBS, the network that airs the program in US, has released a statement celebrating the ninth season, but did not go in detail about the number of episodes it ordered.

Avid followers of the hit comedy series know that Ted Mosby meets the mother at the wedding. They have a close encounter at the Farhampton station, but they may have met a bit earlier during the reception. The other spoiler is that every one in the gang meets the still unnamed mother ahead of Ted.
