Speculations are now running wild on how Robin (Cobie Smulders) will get to know "The Mother" (Cristin Milioti) and of course the grand meeting of Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) and his future wife in "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9. Executive producer Carter Bays teased the HIMYM fans on how these interactions between the three characters will go down in the second half of the sitcom's final season.

According to the HIMYM co-creator and executive producer, Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin's wedding is a "bruising weekend" for everyone. "A lot goes down. But [Ted is] going to meet [The Mother] at exactly the right time in his life," shared Mr Bays in the TV Line report.

As for Robin, meeting the woman that captures the heart of the guy she once loved, Carter Bays teased it will happen in the later part of Season 9.

"There's definite significance. It's a very important moment when they run into each other," revealed the executive producer. Additionally, the spoiler report claims the name of "The Mother" will be revealed before the CBS sitcom ends.

The other spoilers for "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 in the TV Line report reads: "COMING UP NEXT | The next slap is coming very soon, and star Jason Segel offers this cryptic tease: 'Hillary Clinton.' Another momentous occasion will occur in late January when the show airs its 200th episode, "How Your Mother Met Me." (In case you couldn't tell, it will be very heavy on The Mother.) Ashley Williams returns and Marshall and Lily's story takes on some twists."

Meanwhile, a preview video for the upcoming Episode 14 "Slapsgiving 3: Slappointment in Slapmarra" appears in the KPop Starz report. The voiceover in the brief video clip tells the viewers to "Turn Happy New Year into Slappy New Year" where the final slap between Barney and Marshall (Jason Segel) takes place.

Before the video clip ends, it showed Marshall and Barney standing face-to-face and getting ready for the slap bet with Robin telling Barney that she loves him. "Enough to take this slap for me?" Barney asked to which Robin replied "No" and then stepped away.

The second half of "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 is set to return on Monday night, January 13, at 8/7c on the CBS network.
