(See the tweet below.) Radnor, in a much earlier interview, had said How I Met Your Mother Season 9 is an ideal final lap for the gang. At the time, everyone was unsure whether the sitcom would get a ninth chapter.

Spoilers have revealed that HIYMY Season 9 will have Barney's and Robin's wedding as the framework of all its 24 episodes. There will be lots of flashbacks and flash-forwards. But the moments all go back to the wedding.

At the San Diego Comic-Con 2013, Neil Patrick Harris (Barney Stinson) casually spilled that his character's brother will go through divorce.

Wayne Brady, who plays James Stinson, will reprise his HIMYM role at the show's final season. Apparently, he will be suffering the complications of divorce. Is this the reason why Barney is getting panic attacks - and asking Ted about his wedding tie?
