How I Met Your Mother Season 9 will be the last chapter from the hit CBS sitcom. Fans expect a Robin-Barney wedding in the Season 8 finale. But HIMYM spoilers and teasers suggest there will a major cliffhanger. It seems viewers will have to wait until Season 9 to find out whether the lovely couple was actually wed. 3. Robin loves Barney more than Ted ever loved her. Ted has always been about what he could get from a relationship. But Robin has always been about whether or not Barney's happy - or will be happy with the decisions they make together.

2. Robin and Barney draw strength from each other. They broke up when they realized they were making each other physically hideous, and in effect, unhappy. But the truth is, they were so at home with each other. In challenging times, they draw strength from each other. 1. To Robin, Ted has always been the nice guy she couldn't bear to hurt. It is true that she loves him. But not in the way that she loves Barney. Not in the way that Barney loves her.
