The sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" will air in March 31, 2014. The series has had successful seasons and many of the stars have gained fame through the sitcom.

Co-creator of the show, Carter Bays tweeted at 4:21am on December 20 saying,

"Monday, March 31st, 2014. Last #HIMYM forever."

The sitcom will air at 8 p.m in an hour long special. It would be its 200th episode and it would be in the perspective of the mother.

The spinoff from the sitcom is said to be planned which will be called "How I Met Your Father" and the cast would be entirely different. People have been waiting for the great reveal as to who the mother looks like and who she is. After the huge reveal of the mother, they now want to know how they met and the 200th episode will show how Ted Mosby gets to meet the who reason for his narration of the entire show telling his kids how he met their mother.

"How I Met Your Mother" has been nominated for a number of times and Neil Patrick Harris who plays Barney Stinson on the show has won awards. The show has coined a number of words and phrases that till today people use in accordance with the show such as "Legend...wait for it...dary", "the Bro Code" and "challenge accepted".

Barney's book the "Bro Code" which is his book of pick up lines and challenges he has accomplished in getting girls over the years is actually a book that has been published and can be bought by fans.
