New Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware is now available for download and installation to your Samsung Galaxy S4. JWR66V Android 4.3 build is much smoother and speedier than the previous pre-release for the Google Play variant of S4. It also contains major bug fixes and improved system stability.

New Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for Samsung Galaxy S4

Another Android 4.3 firmware for Samsung Galaxy S4 has been released through leaks and available for free download and installation. The leaked firmware can be applied to the Google Play Edition Galaxy S4 GT-I9505G, International LTE Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 and few United States variants as well.

Requirements

- Samsung Galaxy S4 International, Google Play Edition and U.S. variants. AT&T devices must use the "auto-loki" version.

- AT&T owners should check the baseband version with "UCUAMDL or UCUAMF3". Otherwise, you are required to flash an updated modem.

- Create a backup of all personal information and data files.

- Make sure that the battery level is at least 50 per cent.

- Install the ClockworkMod custom recovery on your phone.

- Download the Android 4.3 JWR66V Firmware at the XDA developers original thread.

Flashing Instructions

1. Connect your Samsung Galaxy S4 to your computer via USB cable.

2. Copy the Android 4.3 firmware you have downloaded earlier and paste it into the SD card of the device. Do not extract the zip file.

3. Disconnect the handset from your computer and reboot into Recovery mode using the ClockworkMod custom recovery.

4. Inside the Recovery mode, do a full wipe on your device. Select "wipe data/factory reset."

5. Now install the firmware by selecting "install zip from SD card > choose zip from SD card." Choose the Android 4.3 firmware you have copied earlier then confirms the installation.

6. Once the flashing is complete, go back to the main menu and select "reboot system now."

Congratulations! Your Samsung Galaxy S4 is now running an Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware containing major bug fixes from the previous one.

In case you get stuck with boot loop and the device does not proceed to the home screen, go to Recovery mode and select "wipe cache partition" then "reboot system now."
