How To Lip-Sync 'Welcome To The Jungle,' 'Shake It Off' With Your Dad Plus Taylor Swift’s ‘1989’ Tops Billboard 200
A video of a Georgia father and his son lip-syncing Guns N’ Roses hit “Welcome to the Jungle” and Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off” has gone viral. The “Father and son lip sync road trip style!!” video has been viewed more than 1.6 million times since it was posted on YouTube on Nov. 11.
The father, Chris O’Malley, said he started doing the lip-syncing road-trip videos with his daughter Briana, 15, to pass time on a five-hour car ride to visit pals with his son Sean, 15, who is in the viral YouTube video, playing songs through his iPod.
The family posted the lip-syncing road-trip videos to YouTube until friends suggested O’Malley to post the video to YouTube.
“Rocking out to GNR is definitely macho, but it’s hard to be tough singing a T Swift song. We just rolled with it and shook it off,” O’Malley told Today adding the importance for parents to have fun with their teenage kids.
O’Malley thinks “just being silly and cutting loose” takedown the walls between parents and teens. He also said he hopes the viral video of him and his son lip-syncing “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Shake it Off” inspires more parents to do fun stuff with their children.
Meanwhile, Swift’s latest album “1989” is currently on top of the Billboard 200 list followed by “That’s Christmas To Me” by Pentatonix, “ShadyXV” by various artists, “FOUR” by One Direction and “In The Lonely Hour” by Sam Smith.
“1989” contains Swift’s chart-topping hits “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space.”
