How to UnJailBreak an iOS device
Despite the emergence of several JailBreaking methods, there is no perfect one they will surely last forever without the iPhone suffering from lagging or bugs. Phone owners who are experiencing such technical glitches could try reversing the process.
The rise in number of JailBreaking methods came with the increase in number of innovative gargets from Apple such as the iPhone 5, iPad 2 and its Mini, and iPods. iOS ensure exclusivity and security to its applications to prevent malware attacks and piracy.
Once Jailbroken, the iOS user can do things and acquire application which are not normally allowed with a locked iOS device. Unlike Rooting on Android devices, JailBreaking has more consequences because the OS platform itself is not designed for open sourcing, in contrast to Android.
UnJailbreak iOS devices
UnJailbreaking an iPhone, iPod, or iPad is possible with software which made them Jailbroken. However, if the user has trust issues and wants to regain updates from Apple, iTunes is the best option.
Make sure to sync all data and make back ups before proceeding with these steps.
1. Connect the device to computer and launch iTunes.
2. Select the device to be restored.
3. Under the summary tab, click Restore button. This will trigger the JailBreak process.
4. A message popup will ask to backup the data.
5. Once the UnJailBreak is finished, the device will restart on its own.
6. After that, the device is good as new, "imprisoned" again by iOS.
Apple TV
The device owner must make sure that he has nothing to save or any other action he wants to perform before proceeding to restoring Apple TV.
1. Turn on the Apple TV
2. Go to Settings, then General, and Reset, and then select Restore. This will turn back the Apple TV to its original factory state.
3. After that, it is good as new as the original Apple TV..
Alternatively, in case this method from the device does not work, the iTunes can help out.
1. Plug the Apple TV into the computer with its Micro USB cable.
2. Open the iTunes
3. Select the device for restoration
4. From the summary tab click Restore which will lead to the UnJailBreaking process
JailBreaking is far more difficult to do than reversing its process, which is similar with Androids. UnJailBreaking an iOS device will remove apps like Cydia, themes, and tweaks, but the process will not cause any data loss and will not erase apps purchased from Apple.
