How to Update Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 P600 to Official Android 4.4.2 XXUCND3 Firmware
Samsung released the follow-up Android 4.4.2 KitKat XXUCND3 firmware for Galaxy Note 10.1 P600 tablet which contains major bug fixes to resolve issues on the initial version. In case you haven't received any automatic updates, here are the steps on how to do it manually.
Galaxy Note 10.1 P600XXUCND3
Android 4.4.2 KitKat XXUCND3 firmware was released via Samsung Kies and Over the Air process to Galaxy Note 10.1. However, for some reason the software update may not appear on both methods and so Team Android made a full guide on how to do it manually.

Requirements
1. You can only use this firmware for the Galaxy Note 10.1 P600 Wi-Fi 2014 Edition or suffer unforeseen consequences.
2. Create a manual backup of all data files and system settings stored on your tablet.
3. Battery level should be at least 50 per cent to prevent any power-related issues during installation.
4. Enable USB debugging mode on the tablet.
5. Download the necessary USB drivers for Galaxy Note 10.1.
6. Download the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat P600XXUCND3 firmware and the ODIN flash tool version 3.09 on your computer.

Flashing Instructions
1. Extract the Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware zip file you've downloaded earlier to an easy access location such as the desktop on your computer.
2. Turn off your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 P600 tablet.
3. Reboot into Download Mode by pressing and holding the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time till the Samsung logo or Android robot with a triangle appears.
4. Launch the ODIN flash tool on your computer.
5. Connect your Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet to the computer using a USB cable.
6. The ID:COM will turn blue or yellow if your tablet has been detected. If not, make sure you've downloaded and installed the necessary USB drivers.
7. Select the files required for installation on the ODIN flash tool.
a. Click AP and select the file with CODE in its name or only the firmware file.
b. Click PHONE and select the file with MODEM in its name. If not available, ignore this step.
c. Click CSC and select the file with CSC in its name. If not available, ignore this step.
d. Click on PIT and select the file with extension ".pit". If not available, ignore this step.
8. Check the AUTO REBOOT and F.RESET TIME on the Odin flash tool. DO NOT check the RE-PARTITION option if you don't have a file with ".pit" extension.
9. Hit the START button to begin installation. Odin may take three to five minutes to complete the installation process.
10. Once the installation has been completed, your tablet will restart automatically.
Well done! Your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 P600 is now running Android 4.4.2 XXUCND3 firmware which can be confirmed by going to the Settings > About tablet.
