How to Update Your Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Wi-Fi GT-P5210 with Official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Using PC Suite or Manual Flashing
The Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is now available for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 GT-P5210 Wi-Fi variant from Samsung. Owners can enjoy all new features, changes and bug fixes on their Galaxy Tab 3 Wi-Fi.
The official Android 4.2.2 firmware for Galaxy Tab 3 Wi-Fi has a build version of XXUAMFA and includes the following changes:

Installation Using the Computer
You use your computer to update the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Wi-Fi through Samsung Kies PC Suite.
1. Download and install the Samsung Kies on your computer. You can get the installer from the Samsung Web site.
2. Launch the Samsung Kies on your computer.
3. Connect the device to the computer and allow it to install drivers.
4. After the drivers installation, backup all your personal settings and data files to prevent losing them. Do this via Samsung Kies or manually.
5. Once you have created the backup, follow the procedure displayed by the Samsung Kies on your screen.
Manual Flashing of the Update
In case the Samsung Kies suffers an error, you can manually install the firmware yourself to your tablet.
Warning: This is an official firmware from Samsung. However, you must follow the instructions carefully to prevent damaging your device. We are not responsible for any errors or damages which may occur on your tablet.
Requirements:
- Flash the firmware update only to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Wi-Fi GT-P5210.
- Create a backup of all your personal settings and data files.
- Make sure that the battery level is at least 50 per cent.
- Enable USB debugging mode. Go to "Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging."
- Download the Official Android 4.2.2 Firmware from Samsung and the Odin tool to your computer.
Flashing Procedure:
1. If the device is connected on your computer, disconnect it then switch it off.
2. Launch the Odin tool on your computer.
3. Reboot the tablet into Recovery mode. Press and hold Volume down + Menu + Power keys together.
4. Release the button once it boots into Recovery mode indicated by a green Android.
5. Connect the tablet to your computer using a USB cable.
6. Check the Odin tool if the ID:COM section turns Blue which indicates connection. If not, reinstall all USB drivers on your computer.
7. Now click on the "PDA" and select the firmware file by extracting the firmware package you have downloaded earlier.
8. Do not modify anything else, simply hit "Start" to begin installation.
9. After 4 or 5 minutes, the process is complete and the device will reboot automatically.
10. Disconnect the tablet after it has completed booting to the home screen.
