HPV Vaccine Safe for Girls with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
HPV is a sexually transmitted disease. It is common to at least 50% of men and women who are sexually active according to Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
HPV is the main cause of cervical cancer and other types of cancer. Majority of the people don’t know that it’s already present in their body.
The immune system clears it naturally. It gained more attention when Texas Gov Rick Perry signed an order that sixth-graders should be vaccinated against HPV to prevent sexually transmitted disease. Perry said that his main goal is to stop cancer and that parents have the free will whether to let their children have the vaccination.
The GOP presidential front liner acknowledged that making the unilateral order is an honest mistake. According to Perry during GOP candidates debate that if he’ll be given the chance to do the order all over again, he will do it in a different way. He is the only governor to issue an order directing girls to have the vaccine.
Now the talk about HPV vaccine is on the spot again, but now on the lighter side. It was found out that the vaccine is safe and effective for those girls with juvenile idiopathic arthritis.
