HTC One Mini 2 Leaked: Refreshed Body And Specs
HTC has been in the news ever since with the launch of HTC One M8 and HTC One Mini.
Keeping all the reports in place, it is once again rumored that HTC will be rolling out its new device. But the exact date is not known. The smartphone will be called HTC One Mini 2.
According to Evleaks, there are tweets saying HTC will release HTC One Mini 2 instead of HTC One (M8) Mini. The image that is also leaked, along with the rumor, appears to be a press image of HTC One Mini 2, a smaller version of the company's new flagship Android smartphone and the successor to HTC One Mini.
The new device is somewhat similar to the One M8, with the same color options: gray, silver, gold with simple and basic designs, including a switch to onscreen buttons and wraparound metal body.
Details and specifications are not much leaked, but being a smaller version, the phone might not have high features as that in HTC One (M8). One of the eye-catching features of HTC One Mini 2 is a single camera at the rear, rather than the M8's dual camera setup.
According to an earlier tweet from Evleaks, the rumored HTC One Mini 2 is expected to run Android 4.4.2 with HTC's latest Sense 6.0 UI. It will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz and coupled with 1 GB RAM.
HTC One Mini 2 is also rumored to feature a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It will sport a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front-facing camera as seen on HTC One (M8). The internal storage will be 16 GB with the option to expand via a microSD card.
