The HTC One Mini smart phone name confirmation came from the HTC web site's User Agent Profile as well as the screen display that shows off a 1280x720p resolution. An HTC Developer better known as username LabTooFer on social networking site Twitter has confirmed as well that the smaller HTC One smart phone will arrive soon at US carrier T-Mobile.

"I'm not sure that Verizon will launch One Mini in near future. T-Mobile USA will have it for sure," the HTC Developer stated though not divulging as to when exactly will the HTC One Mini arrive at the US carrier. HTC One Mini, previously codenamed HTC M4, is the more affordable smart phone against the original HTC One with the familiar aluminum casing design and competitive features and specs.

HTC One Mini will reportedly feature a 4.3-inch HD screen display with Super LCD3 technology, the Snapdragon 400 chipset with 2 Krait cores clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM and Adreno 305 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU).

Additional features and specs include 16GB of internal storage capacity, the familiar Boom Sound stereo front-facing speaker grills with Beats Audio, a non-removable battery, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. At this point, it is still uncertain if the HTC One Mini will feature the HTC Sense 5 UI or the previous version.

Contradicting claims are reported as well on the HTC One Mini camera. Some reports stated the Mini smart phone will have an 8MP rear-facing camera while the others claim that the same 4MP UltraPixel camera on the HTC One will be incorporated in the Mini.

Taiwanese company HTC will release the HTC One Mini on the market a competitive scheme against rival company Samsung to defeat the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. Tech web site "The Next Web" reported that HTC was asked to give a remark on the upcoming HTC One Mini but an unnamed HTC spokeswoman simply stated: "HTC does not comment on rumor or speculation."
