The HTC One X+ finally gets an official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update which brings a list of new features and the latest iteration of the Sense UI that is currently being pushed throughout Asia.

HTC One X+ Android 4.2.2 Update

Vr-Zone caught the roll-out of the official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update with firmware version 2.17.709.12 for HTC One X+, the HTC One X enhanced smartphone version, and now receiving several new features including the HTC Sense UI major iteration.

HTC One X+ owners should expect at least 484 MB update size via Over-the-Air procedure which requires the device to free the necessary storage space to download and install the official firmware. In addition, the update is only exclusive to HTC One X+ units which are unlocked in Asia and soon to be pushed throughout Europe and the United States.

For users who aren't receiving the update outside Asia, you can search for a custom ROM or two to have your HTC One X+ run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version.

So far, HTC is focusing on releasing Android 4.2.2 firmware updates to several devices and the company hasn't released any official announcement regarding Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. HTC may push Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie instead once Google officially launches the next major Android iteration.
