HTC is rumoured gearing up to battle the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with HTC T6 featuring 5.9 inches of screen display and Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.

The notable leak source @evleaks in Twitter revealed details a device from HTC called T6 which currently under development. It seems to be that HTC T6 will be designed to match the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which going to be released around September or October.

Hardware Specifications

No concrete information yet has been confirmed by HTC regarding T6 and same as well from Samsung about the Galaxy Note 3 hardware details. But rumours have flooded the Web with logs displaying possible specifications of both devices.

HTC T6 Features

Almost similar to the HTC One, the T6 have BlinkFeed, HTC Sense 5 UI and Ultrapixels camera. No information if the phablet size HTC device will have dual-speakers and dual-microphone installed which are found in HTC One.

New Technologies

HTC must be incorporating a Biometrics sensor on the T6 unit. The rumoured biometrics sensor is located at the back of the device allowing user to unlock the T6 while simply holding it. Another development from HTC is the "power jacket" case which not only protects the device but also have a battery backup for recharging needs. The "power jacket" casing adds an additional 1250 mAh battery to increase the 3300 mAh battery inside the HTC T6 - giving more than 4000 mAh power supply to the device.

Release Date

HTC T6 seems to run Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie and this upcoming new version of the Android OS is expected to be launched by October 2013 during the Android's Fifth Anniversary. Although no schedule yet of event has been marked specifically, HTC T6 may join Motorola X Phone, LG Nexus 5 and even Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to celebrate the new face of Android.
