Hugh Jackman Looks Hot as He Shows Off Buff Bod in Men’s Fitness July 2013 Cover

Hugh Jackman sure is an envy of men his age! At 44, the Australian actor has never looked any hotter as he shows off his buff body for the cover of the July-August 2013 issue of Men’s Fitness magazine.

Jackman’s fitness routine for his role as Wolverine in ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ has been feature in the magazine’s next month issue to take a look at how he managed to develop those sexy, hot, strong muscles of his.

In an interview with the magazine, Hugh talks about seeking advice from Dwayne Johnson who has kept his equally sexy, one-of-a-kind buff body and for years, at that.

“He told me that if in a six-month period you want to put on 25 pounds of lean muscle and not fat, eat natural and eat 6,000 calories a day,” Jackman was quoted as saying by Just Jared.

The actor also admitted that it’s never easy. That there are times he really has to force himself to have another “mouthful” even if his body didn’t want it.

He said, “There were times when I would literally eat with the mind set of working out. ‘One more mouthful, one more, come on, come on, you’ve got to finish this meal!’”

The hard work paid off as Hugh had never looked any hotter for his latest film. Another ace up his sleeve, the actor seems to have not done anything wrong as he nabbed the most loved Australian celebrity Down Under for second year in a row. This could be attributed to his humble beginnings and staying grounded despite the immense success he has had since he embarked a career in Hollywood.

Jackman remains married to his wife of many years and has proven to be a great father. He always finds time to be with his family when he gets the chance. Hugh is known for his roles not only in Wolverine but also in other hit films including Les Miserables, a film that features his talent in singing. A theatre actor before he came to Hollywood, Jackman occasionally appears in some stage projects.

X-Men however, has remained on top of his best films that propelled him to international superstardom and became a household name. The Wolverine opens in UK cinemas on July 26.
